What it is
Clan Settings controls two things: how your clan appears to the public in the directory and on its own page, and who is allowed to manage it.
Press Save Settings when you are done. Name and crest styling has its own Save Name Style button.
Public identity
How your clan appears in the directory and on its dashboard.
| Setting | What it is |
|---|---|
| Display Title / Slogan | A short line shown with your clan's name. |
| Clan Description | The main text on your clan's page. See formatting below. |
| Primary Focus | What the clan is mainly about, such as PvM, skilling or social. Decides which focus directory you are listed in. |
| Search Tags | Extra tags people can search and filter by. |
Formatting the description
The description uses the same formatting as Discord:
| Type | To get |
|---|---|
**text** |

*text* |
Italic |

Regional and citadel details
| Setting | What it is |
|---|---|
| Primary Language | The language your clan mainly uses. |
| Home World | Your clan's usual world. |
| Official Timezone | The time zone your clan keeps to. |
| Citadel Level | Your citadel's tier, up to 7. |
| Last Citadel Build Tick Reset | When your citadel last reset. |
The citadel build tick
Your citadel resets once a week at a time particular to your clan. The site uses it to work out which week a cap belongs to.
Left alone, the site estimates the reset time from when members visit and cap, and becomes more confident over a few weeks. If you know the exact time, enter it and the site uses yours.
Enter the reset in game time (UTC), not your local time. It is the same moment for every member wherever they live.
Recruitment and socials
| Setting | What it is |
|---|---|
| Directory Listing | Your recruiting status, shown on your listing: for example open, invite only or closed. |
| Discord Invite Link | A link people can use to join your server from your clan's page. |
Use an invite that doesn't expire, or the link will stop working.
Portal access and security
Only the clan owner sees this section.
| Setting | What it decides |
|---|---|
| Minimum Rank Required to Edit Settings | The lowest in-game rank that counts as a clan admin on RSClanTrack. Anyone below it gets read-only access to clan management. Admin by default. |
| Minimum Rank Required to Create/Host Events | The lowest rank that can schedule and host events. It is separate from the admin rank, so you can let Sergeants run events without giving them the rest. |
These ranks are your in-game clan ranks. A member is matched to their rank through the RuneScape name on their RSClanTrack account, so staff need to have registered and verified.
The same two ranks decide who can use the bot's staff commands. See Set up Discord for events.
Name and crest style
How your clan's name and crest look in its dashboard header. These are cosmetic extras that come with clan donation tiers:
| Setting | What it does | Comes with |
|---|---|---|
| Custom name colours | A two-tone gradient of your choice on the clan name. Off uses the site theme's gradient. | Tier 2 |
| Crest frame | A glowing border around your crest. | Tier 2 |
| Shine | A light sweep across the letters every few seconds. | Tier 3 |
See Clan donations and cosmetic tiers.
Common problems
I can't see Portal Access & Security. Only the clan owner can.
A staff member can't open clan management. Their in-game rank is below the minimum, or their RSClanTrack account isn't verified as that RuneScape name.
Citadel caps are landing in the wrong week. The build tick is off. Enter the exact reset time, in game time.
Our clan isn't in the directory. Check Primary Focus and Directory Listing are set.
