What it is
Member Activity ranks your members by how involved they have been over a period you choose. It brings three things together:
- Events: how many they attended and hosted.
- Caps: how many times they capped at the citadel.
- Discord: messages sent and time in voice.
It is for answering questions like "who deserves a shout-out this month?" and "who has gone quiet?".
This is separate from rank points. Rank points are a lifetime score that drives promotions. The activity leaderboard looks only at the dates you pick and changes nothing.
Read the table
| Column | What it counts |
|---|---|
| Events Attended | Events they were marked present at, plus events they hosted. Hosting your own event counts as attending it once. |
| Events Hosted | Events they led or co-hosted, with the events themselves listed. |
| Caps | Citadel caps in the period. A member can cap once a week. |
| Discord Activity | A score out of 100, with their messages and voice minutes underneath. Not linked means their Discord isn't linked to their RuneScape name. |
| Overall Score | The three combined into one number out of 100. |
Cancelled events don't count as hosted or attended.
Choose what to look at
Sort by a metric
Use the metric buttons to rank by Overall, Events Attended, Events Hosted, Caps or Discord. Every column stays visible; the choice only changes the order.
When two members tie on the metric you picked, the one with the higher overall score is placed first.
Choose the period
Pick 30, 90, 180 or 365 days, or all time. Custom lets you set a Start date and End date, for example last month exactly.
Choose who is shown
| Filter | Shows |
|---|---|
| All | Everyone. |
| Hide Admins | Leaves out Admin rank and above, so staff don't crowd the top. |
| Admins Only | Admin rank and above only. Useful for seeing which staff are hosting. |
Scores are worked out against the top performer among the members shown, so hiding admins re-scales everyone else.
How the overall score works
Each member gets a score out of 100 in each of the three areas, measured against the best member in that area. A member who attended half as many events as the top attender scores 50 for events.
Those three are then blended by weight. The defaults are:
| Area | Weight |
|---|---|
| Events | 40 |
| Discord | 30 |
| Caps | 30 |
For Discord, a minute in voice counts the same as two messages.
Change the weights
- Press Overall Score Weighting.
- Set the three values. They are relative, so they don't need to add up to 100. Setting one to 0 removes it from the score.
- Press Save.
A clan with no Discord server could set Discord to 0. A PvM clan might weight events more heavily.
Where the numbers come from
- Events come from attendance. An event counts only once staff have taken attendance for it. See Take attendance.
- Caps come from members' RuneMetrics logs, so a member with a private profile shows none.
- Discord needs the bot in your server and the member's account linked.
Common problems
Everyone shows 0 events. Attendance hasn't been taken for events in this period.
A member shows more caps than weeks in the period. That shouldn't happen: a member can cap once a week. Report it to RSClanTrack in Discord with the member's name.
A member is "Not linked" but is in the Discord. They haven't verified. See Link your RuneScape name.
