Guides / Discord bot

Discord command reference

Every RSClanTrack bot command, who can use it, what each option means, and what the bot does in reply.

For everyone Updated 11 Oct 2026

How to use a command

  1. In any channel the bot can see, type /. If you are not a server admin, it has to be a channel where your role has Discord's Use Application Commands permission. Without it the bot's commands don't appear in the menu.
  2. Start typing the command's name, such as event, and pick it from the menu.
  3. Fill in the options Discord shows. Options marked optional can be skipped.
  4. Press Enter.

A few things apply to every command:

  • Pick from the list. Options such as event, competition, task and boss show a list as you type. Choose an entry from it. Typing a name without picking it gives "Pick an event from the list".
  • Times are game time (UTC): 20:00 or 8pm.
  • Dates can be today, tomorrow, a weekday such as saturday, 25/12 or 2026-12-25.
  • The bot needs to know who you are. Most commands use the RuneScape name linked to your Discord account. Link it once with /verify.
  • Replies are often private. Lists and confirmations are shown only to you, so they don't fill the channel.

/help in your server lists the commands you personally can use there.

Events

For every member. Start typing after the command and Discord lists your clan's events to pick from.

/event list

Shows the clan's upcoming events, soonest first.

  • Who can use it: Everyone
  • Example: /event list
  • What happens: A list only you can see, with each event's date and a reminder to sign up with /event interested.

/event interested

Puts your name down for an event.

  • Who can use it: Everyone
  • Example: /event interested event: Saturday Vorago
  • What happens: You are added to the event's sign-up list on the site. For a boss event you can then pick roles with /event roles.
Option What to put
event The event you want to attend.

The bot signs up the RuneScape name linked to your Discord account. Link one with /verify.

Only standard and boss events are listed. Bingo and points events are joined on the website, because they need a team or board setting up.

/event leave

Takes your name off an event you signed up for.

  • Who can use it: Everyone
  • Example: /event leave event: Saturday Vorago
  • What happens: You are removed from the event's sign-up list.
Option What to put
event The event you can no longer make.

For standard and boss events. To leave a bingo or points team, use the team's page on the website.

/event board

Posts a bingo board, or a points event's leaderboard or task list.

  • Example: /event board event: Summer Bingo entrant: Team Red

entrant (optional) A team or player, to see their board.
channel (optional) Post it in another channel. Staff and the event's host only.

  • Who can use it: Everyone

If a command doesn't work

The command isn't in the menu. You may not have the Use Application Commands permission in that channel: try another channel, or ask a server admin to allow it for your role. Otherwise the bot may be missing from the server. Some commands only exist in a clan's own server, and others only in community servers.

"This server isn't linked to a clan." The clan-only commands need the server to be connected to a clan on RSClanTrack. Clan staff do that under Discord in clan management.

It says you're not allowed. Staff commands check your clan rank through your linked RuneScape name. Run /verify, and see "Decide who is staff" in Set up Discord for events.

The bot says it can't post. It lacks permission in that channel. Try another, or ask a server admin to give the bot Send Messages and Embed Links there.
